Dawn is a bi-coastal actor, singer, and writer. She has been seen on Broadway, off-Broadway, regionally, on film and television, and has toured as a singer/songwriter internationally. She joined the Broadway and National Tour cast of 1776 directed by Diane Paulus and Jeffrey L. Page and can now be seen as Mrs. Van Buren in Lynn Nottage's Pulitzer Prize winning play Intimate Apparel at Arizona Theatre Company. Originally from the wilderness of Altadena California, she grew up surfing, hiking, and belting out Judy Garland classics with her brother Ryan at the piano. She then migrated to New York City to study Musical Theatre and Shakespeare at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and never looked back. She specializes in sad contralto songs, and accompanying herself on her favorite Folk, Irish, and Bluegrass tunes on the Guitar, Ukulele, or Piano.
